An unusual purple flowering abutilon that makes a terrific background shrub for a shady position. The maple shaped leaves are covered in fine hairs giving a soft, velvet like texture and also reducing water loss from the foliage. Flowers are larger, more open and mallow like than typical abutilons. Growing to around 3mH it can be pruned to maintain a smaller shrub. Best in dappled shade. Easy and quick growing.
