A lovely green grass-like foliage is a soft foil for the pink flowers that are borne profusely on long stems well above the foliage. The superbus species are endemic to Europe and while they cope well with heat, a weekly water is required to keep them looking good and flowering through spring, summer and autumn. The flowers are fragrant and are excellent for flower arranging thanks to the long stems. Pruning off spent flowers throughout the season is all the maintenance these need.
