Glaucous silvery grey foliage on this eryngium is an eye-catching standout and worth growing for this alone. Foliage is thick and leathery, withstanding hot summer sun and dry conditions without missing a beat. Endemic to coastal areas around the mediterranean region so it is adapted to alkaline sandy soils. Does benefit from a weekly water during Perth's hot summer.
