From the Canary Islands (yep, you guessed it!), this fabulous plant is a beacon for birds, especially wattle birds and various insects. Umber coloured flowers are borne atop multiple tall stemmed inflorescence covering the plant from mid - late spring into summer. Flowers are good for cutting and this Isoplexis makes a good specimen plant or works well in a border. Full sun but some afternoon shade is appreciated in hotter areas. Best with a weekly drink during summer. Prune off spent flowers to tidy and encourage new growth. 1.5mH x 1.1mW
