Slightly shorter growing chaste tree, more shrub than tree really. Reaches about 2.5m high at a moderate growth rate. Soft pink flowers are borne in profusion in early summer and are a magnet for butterflies. It is very dry tolerant, once established growing happily on rainfall alone in the Perth hills. On sandy soils it may need the occasional drink during hot weather. Prune spent flowers off if you find the seed pods unsightly (don't seem to germinate so no weed issues), otherwise no real maintenance requirements. Almost better than plastic plants! 2.5mH x 2.5mW. Full sun.
