Lovely deep purple flowering aster of a medium height that flowers from late summer into autumn. Foliage is mat like, spreading rhizomatically, to a patch of approximately 1m wide. Can be kept smaller if preferred by reducing available water. Flowers last well in the vase and are around 35cm tall. Easy to grow, just needing a tidy up at the end of autumn. Full sun to part shade.
