A quick growing perennial in warm climates; short lived in cold frosty regions. It does however self seed, germinating once the soil warms up so will persist even in areas with frosty winters. Endemic to mediterranean countries it is well suited to warm growing conditions. Flowering profusely in spring, it can spot bloom again over summer if there is some soil moisture. Prune after flowering to tidy. In late winter or early spring older woody growth can be pruned out. 40cm high x 30cm wide; full sun to part shade.
