A really useful Artemisia for meadow/naturalistic style plantings as it has fine filigree foliage which can be interspersed with grasses, and airy perennials, for an interwoven mingled look. Otherwise planted in blocks it makes an eye catching silvery white contrast to greens and other colours in the garden. In good soil it can grow tall so I prune it back by half in mid spring to prevent it flopping open. Best in full sun and dry tolerant once established. In winter shear it back to the base to clear out the old grow. Copes well with poorer soils.
