A terrific long flowering perennial from the warm, dry states of the USA. It loves the full sun even in Perth, and will grow without any summer water in the Perth Hills. I do give it a weekly water once temps get into the high 30s as this supports the continued flowering. It will flower from early spring until the cold weather in late autumn hits. On the Perth coastal plain, it would probably flower through winter as well. Foliage is predominantly basal and dense, making a great weed suppressor. Flowers reach around 35 - 40cm high. A terrific, hard working plant eminently suited to Perth summers.
