A lovely low growing Verbena that spreads rhizomatically to form a dry tolerant ground cover. Polaris doesn't spread too far as it goes along so doesn't become entangled with other plants, never becoming nuisance. Furthermore it is easy to pull out if it does go beyond a desired point. In my Perth hills garden it grows without water in full sun although it does flower more with an occasional water during hot times. Prune back old flowering stems in winter to tidy and make room for the new growth in spring. 25cm high x 40cm wide (approx).
