A sweet native violet readily identified by its arrow head shaped leaves. Endemic to the East coast of Australia and Tasmania but it doesn't mind the heat of Western Australia if regularly watered over summer. While individual plants are narrow, approximately 5cm wide, it self seeds around the parent plant developing a small colony over a couple of years. Never a nuisance, can be easily controlled via dry conditions or seedlings are easily removed if necessary. Dappled shade to morning sun. Individual plants reach about 10cm high.
