A useful plant for upright sword-like foliage adding vertical interest throughout the year. Green foliage is a good foil for ground covers like Artemisia, Arctotis, Helichrysum, Salvia 'Bee's Bliss'or even Crithmum maritimum. Best in full sun but will tolerate some afternoon shade. A weekly water in WA's hot summers keeps it looking good; would cope without irrigation in cooler regions. Warm yellow flowers are produced during spring and into early summer on stems to 1m high. Foliage approximately 35-40cm high.
