Kniphofia with unique flowers that are quite unlike most kniphofia. Does prefer moisture retentive soil and regular moisture over the warmer weather to thrive in Western Australia's hot summer. A slower grower compared to all the other kniphofia in my collection but well worth having as a vertical counterpoint to achillea, scabiosa, artemisia and smaller phlomis. Foliage to 40cm high with inflorescence reaching approx 1m tall. Full sun to part shade.
