An evergreen species of Scadoxus on the Perth coastal plain although it is winter deciduous in the Perth hills and cool climates. Grows happily in ground with good drainage or in pots. In Perth light shade is best during the time it is in active growth. Keep lightly moist when it is actively growing and feed with a balanced fertiliser. Foliage reaches around 35-40cm and the inflorescence is a similar height. An easy Scadoxus to grow although relatively uncommon. **Plants are divisions and will be sent without pot to reduce weight**
