Fast growing, semi evergreen creeper that uses tendrils to wrap around anything fixed. This fine stemmed climber is easily trained over garden arches, along fence lines or garden arbours. The flowers are produced from mid spring until late autumn if it receives regular water through the drier months. It is endemic to tropical regions of South America so not happy in really dry locations. Can get to 10m but is fine being pruned to manage its size on a garden arch etc. Full sun to afternoon shade in really hot areas.
