Another terrific plant from South Africa that is useful for dappled shade positions. Large tropical looking leaves give a dense foliage cover and set off the white flowers that open like little star bursts. Flowering from late autumn through to spring it is a unique plant that always has people asking about it. Best under trees or where is can get some shade from the house or shed. Prune it to keep it to the preferred size as unpruned it can reach small tree proportions! Dappled shade and lightly moist soils is best, although it tolerates dry without much issue. 6mH x 6mW (unpruned)
