Love it or loath it - this honeysuckle really is quite divisive. Some find it's shrubby habit ungainly, others happily love the wild look or prune regularly to shape into something aesthetically acceptable!! The common ground for gardeners is its sweet fragrance and delicate off white flowers, produced reliably in the depths of cold, bleary winter. Looks good clipped to shape or pruned hard every 18 months or so to encourage now growth. Grows happily in part shade with very little additional water, or in full sun with a good soak weekly during the hot weather.
