A smaller subspecies of the canariensis sage, making it more suitable for gardens where space is tight or just heavily planted! Leaves and stems are heavily covered with fine hairs to reduce water loss, and giving a downy white appearance to the foliage. This is attractive in its own right but also serves to make this sage really tough! Prune out old wood over winter to allow room for fresh stems in spring. Can be pruned hard in winter if needed to rejuvenate. Full sun to part shade. 1.6mH x 1.3mW
